About Me
Cameron Garland is a Seattle native, currently residing in the very green and charming city of Edmonds with his wife Whitney and two dogs. Specializing in cut-paper illustration with an acute attention to intricate details and color language, he loves creating bright and dynamic paper works that can be held in a palm of a hand and appreciated from several points of view. He draws a lot of his inspiration from cartoons, comics, children's books, and video games, all of which he has enjoyed his entire life.
With a BFA in Art History from the University of Washington, he has studied many different forms and eras of art and it wasn't until recently that he began creating works of his own. Since then, he has consistently contributed to galleries such as Q Pop Shop, Gallery Nucleus, and Light Grey Art Lab and has worked with commercial clients like Disney Parks, Marvel, Dreamworks, Mattel, Netflix, and Fandango.
